Polkov 12 inch

All those moments will be lost in time… but Polkov‘s songs will remain. Not only in our hearts, but in a more specific container: a 12 inch record they are making as you read this, with some of their songs recorded live.

But to make it, they need your help. Things have changed, and musicians don’t need intermediaries who pay the money to make a record in advance, and then get the money back by selling copies; now, they know their followers are the best investors, because they truly believe in the band, so most of them are willing to help with more or less money, become in that way kind of a producer, and of course get the record or any other gift in exchange of their support.

Polkov decided to create a campaign in a crowdfunding website called startnext, where people can choose among a long range of prices and their corresponding rewards, so they can contribute with whatever much they can or want. Here you can see their campaign and become a part of it, helping Polkov get up to 1300€ before January 31st (the site is in German, but if anyone has any problem understanding it, I’m happy to help).

They’ve already got more than 400€, which they’re using for the production, postproduction and impression of the copies, nothing for them as a salary.
